“A love story like Dirty Dancing, with more citrus and less dancing”, reads the advertisement for Mitja taronja, the new play by Sílvia Navarro, which has premiered at the Tantarantana theatre.

More citrus, more humor, more tenderness, but also more disappointment. And lots of romantic music. Júlia Santacana and Adrià Díaz are a couple who are inaugurating their apartment and have organized an inauguration dinner. The fact of being able to show off her new house obscures him, while she has more of her feet on the ground.

The first friend to arrive at dinner is the character played by Marçal Bayona, but the audience immediately realizes that, although there are other couples who have to attend the party, he will be the only one who will be present (there are no other performers in the program).

And we can't explain anything else. Only that Navarro questions friendships when the couple is from outside the circle of friends. And also the seduction of the machines, and that's where the spectator leaves the theater, looking suspiciously at the dependence he has on his mobile phone.

A fun reflection, even a hooligan, that provokes smiles and touches the soul, because everyone, who more or less, has experienced similar situations, although here Navarro takes them to the extreme.
