The electric motorcycle brand Stark Future, based in Sant Boi, has just obtained key financing for its growth. The company led by Swedish entrepreneur Anton Wass has obtained a loan of 25 million euros from the Big Bets fund to promote the sale of Stark Varg electric cross motorcycles.

The funds will be used to expand production, optimize manufacturing, and advanced technological research at the company's facilities in Sant Boi. The company has occupied a 20,000 square meter warehouse in the town since last year. In total, the facilities have a capacity of 62,000 units per year

Big Bets is a fund specialized in investing in startups. The venture capital firm has been an investor in Stark for two years. “We are convinced about the future of the company and we think that our journey so far confirms the success story of Anton Wass as a founder,” said Anton Gauffin, founding partner of Big Bets.

“We are very pleased to expand our collaboration with Anton and his team to propel Stark Future towards leadership in the electric motorcycle industry,” said Wass himself, founder and CEO of Stark Future.

Stark Future has signed several financing agreements in recent years. Without going any further, last year it closed an agreement with Banco Santander for 20 million euros. A year ago, the company brought in the Indian brand Royal Enfield as a partner (10% of the capital) with an investment of 50 million euros.

Stark was created in 2020 by the Swedish entrepreneur Anton Wass, who decided to settle in Barcelona. The promoter of the online portal for equipment, parts and accessories for motocross 24MX was clear that the brand should be established either in Catalonia or in Italy, but he opted for the former due to the long tradition of the sector, the large number of professionals and the large supplier network.
