The bulls of Núñez del Cuvillo leave a dangerous, but very clean confinement

The fifth running of the bulls of the Sanfermines has left very dangerous scenes, with many runners feeling the breath of the bulls, but it has ended without serious injuries and without a single goring. The bulls of Núñez del Cuvillo have staged a very clean confinement, despite the crowd and some reckless behavior, and, in fact, only three people have required transfer to the hospital: one due to bruises, another due to being stepped on by a bull and one last due to head trauma

The 875 meters of the bull run have been, once again, crowded with runners and, once again, the runners have been seen running very close to the bulls, taking many risks before some bulls that are reputed to be dangerous.

On the slope of San Domingo, a young man has starred in the most risky and reckless scene, leaving the left wall, approaching the herd and being run over by a halter, first, and then by the whole herd. He has been reborn and maybe in the next few hours he can explain what he was trying to do.

The bulls have continued towards Mercaderes without incident, stretching slightly and, with some slips in the curve. From then on, the herd stretched out, opening gaps and allowing runners the longest and most spectacular races so far in Sanfermines.

On Calle Estafeta, the longest section of the route, the Farfonillo bull has imposed his law, setting a very fast pace for the herd, to the point of driving alone for many meters.

Runners have been able to enjoy the kind of racing they like, taking a lot of risks. There have been falls, slips, some pileups and various behaviors not allowed, touching the bulls during the tour. But the bulls have entered the bullring without causing serious injuries, in just 2 minutes and 21 seconds.
