The Andalusian beach of cotton clouds

Summer is getting closer and bathers are beginning to make their first contact with swimsuits and the beach, as in the Costilla de Rota, where spectacular white clouds, like cotton, crown the sky. We see it in this snapshot in The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia.

These colorful spring clouds, apart from offering us a show of great plasticity, can also be the harbinger of a spring storm.

La Costilla beach, with fine golden sand, is located adjacent to the historic center of Rota, making it very accessible and inviting for a walk in spring.

This beach has been awarded the Blue Flag and the Q for Tourist Quality. In fact, this area is full of tourist accommodation and, on the seafront, there are many bars and restaurants.

On the beach of La Costilla there is a comfortable and very pleasant walk between pine trees. In addition, there are several viewpoints to the beach during the tour: one of them is high up and you can see the treetops and the sea.

La Costilla offers all the services required for a beach to be considered excellent in the heatwave months. Includes security, Red Cross, showers, access on foot, rental of hammocks, toilets, spa, rescue team or the tourist office.
