The contestants of Supervivientes 2024 are already in Honduras and in a very few hours, starting tonight at 10 p.m. on Telecinco, they will jump from the helicopter to begin an isolated survival in the paradisiacal Cayos Cochinos and try to win the final prize of 200,000 euros.
The new batch is once again nourished mainly by popular faces in the Mediaset universe such as Carmen Borrego or Kike Calleja and contestants from other reality shows on the network such as Aurah Ruiz (Women and Men and Vice Versa) and Claudia Martínez and Mario González (a couple from The Island of temptations).
The quarry of reality shows is expanded to the presence of the firefighter Rubén Torres (Falso amor, Netflix) and the windsurfer Blanca Manchón (Traitors España, HBO Max). Participants from talent shows such as Miri Pérez-Cabrero (MasterChef, La 1) and Gorka Ibarguren (El conquistador, La 1) also arrive.
One of the contestants who has raised the most expectations is Ángel Cristo jr, who after years of silence seems to have taken a permanent step forward to become a regular in the Mediaset universe since his appearance on Friday with his explosive statements.
Veteran television faces will also participate and will experience a new adventure in their careers. These are the cases of Pedro García Aguado, the water polo player who became popular with Big Brother; Rocío Madrid, one of the most iconic collaborators of Crónicas Marcianas, and Arantxa del Sol, who returns to television after several years away.
Guti's daughter, Zayra Gutiérrez, Elena Tablada's ex-husband, Javier Ungría, and the celebrity hairdresser, Lorena Morlote, make their debut in Survivors without previous television experience. Closing the list of 17 participants is rapper Arkano, who has participated in various RTVE spaces, but never in one of these features.
The new edition of Survivientes will once again feature, after a few months of doubts, Jorge Javier Vázquez as presenter of the Thursday galas. It will be his television return after the cancellation of Chinese Tales, with which he was going to turn the page on Sálvame. Laura Madrueño will continue to lead the connections from the island in Honduras.
Carlos Sobera repeats as host of Nobody's Land on Tuesdays, while Sandra Barneda returns to the Sunday debates on Conexión Honduras taking over from Ion Aramendi, who does not repeat his position since he will be the presenter of the new edition of Factor X
