Smiles and excitement on the magical morning of Three Kings Day

On another January 6, the little ones in the house have gotten out of bed with the hope of finding in their shoes the gifts that they had requested days ago in their letters to Their Majesties the Three Wise Men. A day full of smiles and excitement, in which getting up early is worth it.

On the most magical morning of the year, the nerves to know what was hidden under the colorful wrapping papers with Christmas motifs, laughter and joy have been the tone of a morning full of Christmas magic and happiness.

Surely more than one of them will have spent the night sleepless, others will have slept soundly, sure that their Majesties would fulfill all their wishes, but everyone has woken up with their hopes sky high.

Furthermore, like every year, parents, grandparents and uncles appeared loaded with bags and packages, ready to make the 'Christmas round' and leave in each house what Their Majesties had brought for their grandchildren and nephews.

There is always something for everyone, and in addition to the traditional games of Lego, Pepa Pig, Pocoyó or the Paw Patrol, there are artistic and cultural offerings such as paintings, stories or musical instruments and many experiences to enjoy as a family. There has also been no shortage of board games, dolls and smartphones for many teenagers. For the older ones, there was no shortage of classic pajamas and perfumes, although once again presents related to electronics, fashion and culture were the most in demand.

As midday approaches, the picture is the same every few steps. Mothers, fathers and grandparents carrying packages and bags and children enjoying their toys.

Yesterday was also a day to enjoy sweets with the traditional Roscón de Reyes. In the pastry shops of the capital of Burgos there was a line to take the bun home. As tradition dictates, some had to open their wallets and pay for the candy because they found the bean in their portion, while many others were crowned kings for a day after discovering the figurine.
