Seeking peace between Castelldefels and Vilanova

The beautiful meeting of the sun, the sky and the sea brings with it a perfect moment of love, peace and happiness on the beach of Castelldefels, in Baix Llobregat, as seen in the video of this report in The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguard.

Sometimes I would like to know what this wonderful star, the sun, does when it hides behind the sea or the mountains.

The photograph was taken on the route (from Castelldefels) between Sitges and Vilanova, that is, from the coast of Baix Llobregat to Garraf, with the ever-present Mediterranean Sea.

The sky and the sun are also a constant in the landscape, which can be seen as attracted by the Garraf massif, which rises in the Catalan Coastal Mountains. It occupies a triangular area between the Llobregat valley, the Penedès depression and the Mediterranean. It forms a group of low mountains. Orographically it goes from sea level to 593 meters from the top of Morella.

The Garraf massif loses height towards the west and disappears near Vendrell, where the coastal depression is limited by the sea. The mountains are limestone with many chasms and caves. And the palmetto is an endemic species in this area.
