Securitas Direct has received the Next Generation EU Funds, becoming the first security company to receive this endowment in Spain. The projects that have received these funds are based on the application of artificial intelligence to alarm devices and security processes and alarm management. The main lines of work are the development of predictive and descriptive systems for remote auditing of alarm installations; device predictive maintenance systems, and intelligent alarm trigger process management systems.
The inclusion of predictive models and artificial intelligence in alarm management represents a further step in anticipation and response capacity in the event of possible intrusions or emergency situations. It also facilitates the improvement of the efficiency of some maintenance processes, with the reduction of trips and, therefore, the impact on the carbon footprint.
