Ryan Reynolds has taken the internet by storm with his latest social media ad. In a video, the author not only reveals the release date of Deadpool 3, but also confirms that Hugh Jackman will return to the film as Wolverine.
The last time the Australian was in the shoes of one of his star characters was in Logan, in 2016. However, the character technically died at the end of the film. For this reason, fans are waiting for what argument they will use for the actor to return to the big screen with claws sheathed.
Of course, viewers will have to wait until September 2024 to see him in action with Reynolds. For now, they are the only confirmed actors, but more details are expected in the coming months.
The plot of the long-awaited film has not been revealed either, but Shawn Levy will be behind the film as director, who has already worked with Reynolds on films such as Free Guy and The Adam Project.
