A judge has ordered provisional imprisonment without bail for a woman accused of murdering her husband in Sant Andreu de la Barca (Baix Llobregat), as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) this Thursday.
The 68-year-old woman was arrested by the Mossos d'Esquadra last Tuesday. She was separating from the victim, an 84-year-old man. There is no history of violence between the couple. In addition, they no longer lived together, according to sources close to the case to the Efe agency.
The Mossos received a notice from the Medical Emergency System (SEM) around 09:00 a.m. last Tuesday to go to a home in Sant Andreu de la Barca where a person was dead.
The agents confirmed the discovery of the body, for which the Criminal Investigation Division opened an investigation, in which the ex-partner was arrested for his connection to the crime.
