A court has ordered provisional imprisonment without bail for the coach of an athletics club in the province of Valencia arrested accused of sexually assaulting several underage students, as reported this Wednesday by the Civil Guard.
So far four victims have been identified. The detainee, 49 years old and of Spanish nationality, allegedly installed hidden cameras in the bathrooms, according to the same sources.
As reported this Tuesday by the armed institute, the coach, arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting several underage students, had "numerous" child pornographic material seized, as well as the equipment necessary for its recording.
Operation 'Teuladí' began after the agents became aware of the commission of this criminal act. Thus, thanks to a first visual inspection of the detainee's home, they located micro spy cameras and numerous data storage devices.
After identifying the man, the agents verified that he was a coach for an athletics club in the province of Valencia and that the victims were his students.
Due to these events, Civil Guard agents arrested the man on December 20. In addition, they carried out a second home search and another in a warehouse in which "abundant" computer material was seized, as well as devices manipulated to introduce spy cameras with which the arrested person recorded the alleged sexual assaults.
The detainee is charged with two continuous crimes of sexual assault on minors, the crime of corruption of minors, five crimes against privacy, one crime of revealing secrets and one crime of possession of child pornography. The proceedings were delivered to the Court of First Instance and Instruction number two of Llíria.
