Nine people have been injured after a car crashed into a supermarket in the town of Burjassot, Valencia. According to various sources, the accident occurred at midday when the driver lost control due to feeling unwell or, according to other sources, due to a mechanical failure. In any case, the accident has caused a panic situation inside the supermarket.
Several patrols from the Burjassot Local Police and a Firefighters unit were mobilized to the point of the accident. Although there were no fatalities, seven people were injured as a result of the collision. The accident was reported at 2:20 p.m. this Wednesday in the Plaza Francisca Navarro in the Valencian town. The firefighters have provided the first medical attention until the SAMU arrived and have removed the broken glass to prevent more injuries.
