Naturgy launches a new exclusive channel for neighborhood communities that want the new cheap gas rate

Starting this Tuesday, Naturgy has an exclusive channel to serve neighborhood communities interested in registering for the new Last Resort Rate, known as TUR.

A customer service team will be dedicated exclusively to the care and advice of this new customer profile. Communities of Neighbors that have a joint gas boiler and whose consumption exceeds 50,000 Kwh per year, which since last October 18 have access to a new modality of the Last Resort Regulated Rate (TUR). A cheaper rate since its price is capped by the increase in the cost of gas in international markets.

In this way, the presidents of communities of owners and administrators of interested properties can call 900 370 801 to resolve their doubts and contract this new rate. In addition, neighborhood communities can request their contract on the website www.comunidadesnaturgy.com or through its network of 151 operating stores in the country.

“As an energy group and in a context as changing as the current one, we understand what the consumer is going through and we want to make things easier for them and help them in any way we can. Our goal is to make everything a little easier for families and our customers", explained the general director of Marketing, Carlos Vecino.

Naturgy, like the other three companies authorized to market the TUR, have been overwhelmed in the last month after the Government recommended that all gas customers avail themselves of the TUR, as it is the cheapest rate on the market, and with the that the cost increases of the invoice in the winter months will be better faced.

Naturgy assures that since then it has already managed more than 85,000 requests through the different service channels and that it already has a total of 1.2 million customers adhered to this rate.

Those are the ones who have been lucky enough to be treated, because the avalanche continues. "Among other measures, Naturgy has multiplied by 14 to date the number of operators assigned to attend applications for registration in the gas TUR and will continue to expand the number of operators in the coming weeks," they say from the company chaired by Francisco Reynés .

In this way, the company responds to the criticisms that have been launched in the last month from consumer organizations and from the Government itself due to the poor attention that the four marketers authorized for the TUR are providing to users.

;While the Minister for the Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, asked them to increase their customer service, both the Government and the National Markets and Competition Commission have opened investigations to verify whether the service was being correct or, as reported by the consumers, the companies were making it difficult to contract such a rate.
