It couldn't be any other way: "Madonna is the most fabulous woman and that's why she's the ultimate diva," Luigi assures, in an interview, along with Iango, to Magazine. In it, both describe their friendship with the singer (“One of the most cultured people we know”) and their satisfaction with everything that is happening to them.

Luigi was born in Sardinia, but moved to the United States, where he succeeded as a hairdresser and ended up styling (yes, you guessed it) Madonna's hair. Iango, for his part, is a classical dancer of Swiss origin, responsible for some of his photos looking more like choreographies than typical portraits. Is yours the Cinderella story added to the American dream?: “I think it's a mix of the two, but the key to our success is our dedication. Give meaning to each photograph,” Luigi responds. For Iango, his goal: “It is to glorify the talent we portray to the maximum. Perform a performance in each image.”

Performances almost always in black and white, a format, they say: “That doesn't get old.” Nor do the nudes, which abound in his work, age. How do they convince women as powerful as Gisele Bündchen to get naked in front of her camera? “Because they trust us,” they respond. “Also, when you take off your clothes, you reach a certain unconsciousness: there are fewer artifices. The beauty of each person lies in the nude.” From this desire to reveal the authenticity of her models, without veils or clothing, arises the title of her book: Unveiled.
