The Mossos d'Esquadra have opened an investigation into a shooting that occurred this Thursday in the middle of the street, in the Nou Barris district of Barcelona, as a result of which one person was injured by a firearm.
According to police sources, the events occurred around 1:40 p.m., on Gòngora Street, located in the Verdum neighborhood of the Catalan capital, in the Nou Barris district.
Several Mossos d'Esquadra units have traveled to the place where the shots were fired, without any arrests being made as a result of the incident, which the Catalan police are investigating.
As for the person injured by a firearm, he was able to go to a hospital on his own.
