Àlex Márquez must pass a medical control to run after his brutal fall

Àlex Márquez caused a scare in the last MotoGP training session prior to the qualifying session. His Honda was blocked from the front end and went off the track at a very high speed, about 150 km / h, in the last corner, from the entrance to the finish line. So he could not participate in the qualy and this Sunday he will have to undergo a medical examination to be able to run, having suffered contusions to the head.

"Tomorrow I have another medical check-up. But there are no broken bones, I have bruises everywhere and a broken tooth," explained Àlex Márquez, who suffered his 11th crash of the season (with which he surpasses his brother Marc) .

The accident occurred with 6 minutes remaining in the last free practice, with nothing to play for, since Àlex was out of Q2 and the positions would not change.

"It was a crash at a point where I didn't expect it. It suddenly locked up and I lost my front gear. I haven't seen the crash yet, but I was pulling, as I always do, because I never hold anything back and it's of those falls that make you lose a lot of confidence", explained the youngest of the Márquez.

Despite the spectacular nature of the crash, Àlex Márquez only suffered abrasions and bruises, as can be seen from his scratched elbows. "I hit my elbows and a bit on the radius, where I have a strong blow, but what worries me the most is my head. That's why tomorrow I'll have to be realistic. Now my head hurts, which is normal, but I think tomorrow I won't have any problem running," he said.

The LCR team rider partially justified the fall in the need to have to go to the maximum to put what the bike does not give him. "If I reserve, I'm the last. So it doesn't enter my head to reserve. That's why I always try to give 100% since we were trying things at that time and I was making rhythm. To save things, I stay at home. half gas, never."
