However, he also explained why he thinks Bambi is different from, say, The Little Mermaid or Aladdin. According to Lindsey Beer, there is an entire generation that has grown up without this film, especially because of one of its most dramatic scenes: the death of Bambi's mother.
"I can't say how many children I have seen who have never seen Bambi," she laments, and assures that nowadays fathers and mothers "are more sensitive" and that is why, according to the screenwriter, they do not show the original film to their sons and daughters. , for the drama of the mother's death scene.
