Internal Affairs investigates the contest of inspectors and mayors of the Mossos

The Internal Affairs Division of the Mossos d'Esquadra is investigating the selection process for the new inspectors and mayors of the Catalan police, as La Vanguardia has learned from sources familiar with the paralysis of the process. According to the same sources, the process of selecting the new six commissioners and commissioners continues. In fact, this Monday the court met, chaired by the chief of police, Commissioner Josep Maria Estela.

The document by which the entrance exams are suspended, without date, refers to a note signed by the person in charge of the DAI to an "incident" that took place in the session of the qualifying court of the call, dated September 22 of 2022.

"The events produced could have sufficient relevance to affect the principles of equality, merit and skills required in the selection processes through competitive examinations," justifies the document by which the oppositions are suspended.
