From ground zero of the Moroccan earthquake

The earthquake that hit Morocco on Friday the 8th, the most powerful in its history, has left nearly 3,000 dead and more than 5,600 injured.

The earthquake has hit the most humble regions of the Atlas Mountains due to the slow reaction and apathy of the authorities, who took more than two days to help those affected.

La Vanguardia has traveled to ground zero of the catastrophe to document the impact on its inhabitants.
