The Civil Guard has already arrested the perpetrators of the brutal beating they inflicted on a man in the parking lot of a shopping center in Laredo. The video of the attack circulated on social networks yesterday. In the images, recorded by a witness, you can see how several men beat and kick another, who remains on the ground in a pool of blood.
The video shows how the three perpetrators of the attack intend to flee in a red van. The witnesses present there try to prevent their escape but finally the attackers march in their van, which they have tried to sell in Wallapop for 2,000 euros and with the photo of the license plate.
The Civil Guard is now working on several hypotheses. Among them, it is not ruled out that the aggression is motivated by personal reasons, although there is nothing officially confirmed. The victim has several criminal records, including gender violence. The man is admitted in serious condition at the Valdecilla de Santander Hospital.
The detainees are a 55-year-old couple and their 28-year-old son, as well as a fourth person. All of them are waiting to go to court. The police, however, do not rule out new arrests in the next few hours.
