The Civil Guard of Valencia is investigating five minors for the modification, using artificial intelligence (AI) techniques and the subsequent dissemination of images obtained on social networks of students from various educational centers who were shown naked.
A total of seventeen harmed women have been proven, thirteen of them minors, as reported by the Civil Guard in a statement stating that the five minors, of Spanish nationality, are being investigated for the commission of a crime of revealing secrets. .
According to sources, the management of two secondary education institutes in the province of Valencia raised the alarm at the end of November due to the dissemination of photographs of underage women modified by AI to leave them completely naked.
From the information obtained by the agents, it was possible to determine the alleged authorship of five minors, who would have obtained the photographs from the victims' social networks, subsequently modifying them through AI to strip them of their clothing and disseminate them without authorization from the interested parties. .
The proceedings have been delivered to the Valencia Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.
