This Tuesday, the Lotja Theater in Lleida hosted the first sessions of La Factoría de los Reixos, a show with the name by which the Three Wise Men are known in the city, created in its first edition during the pandemic so that Little ones could enjoy the magic.
This location is precisely one of the novelties of this show that is 100% made by family theater companies from Lleida. It had previously been done in the Barris Nord pavilion.
In this edition, scenography and live music have been premiered by the artistic direction of Ramon Molins and the musical direction of Antoni Tolmos.
On stage there are 20 performers, 15 dancers and musicians who take a journey to discover the imagination that awakens the night of the Three Wise Men. A total of 10 sessions will be held between today and tomorrow. For some they have already sold all the tickets.
The Factoria dels Reixos in 2024 presents the main novelty that all the music heard is live. There is a band of 8 musicians, in addition to the group of actors and actresses who also sing live. In addition, the family audience interacts with the ushers they meet when they enter the Ricard Viñes de la Lonja room and can see how the team that makes Twelfth Night possible works: royal postmen, gift wrappers, a roscón bakery, the chickadees or the Oompa-Loompas workers, among others.
The participating companies are, in addition to the musical ensemble: Lo Somriure solidari, Zum Zum Teatre, Campi qui pugi, Xip Xap and Tandor
The presentation and conduction are carried out by Jesús Agelet and Begonya Ferrer; the audiovisual is from Stage Labe; the set design, by Escena Plàcton; sound and light, by Vtécnics en ruta, and interpretation in sign language, by Deixa'ns Signar.
La Factoria dels Reixos has scheduled 10 sessions this Tuesday, January 2nd and Wednesday, January 3rd. The sessions are in the morning, at 10am and 12pm, and in the afternoon, at 4pm, 6pm and 8pm. Doors open 30 minutes before start and the show begins promptly.
Some of the sessions, such as those at six in the afternoon, have already sold out 100% of the seats. In total there are 10,000 tickets for sale at a cost of 5 euros.
