This involved creating about 700 meters of underground route, with three viaducts and open-air sections to cross the Ripoll River, and with a planned investment of 320 million euros.

Recently, at the end of 2022, the plenary session of the Sabadell City Council approved an initiative to demand that the Generalitat extend the line, thus responding to the mobility needs of the citizens of Castellar, but also implying a reduction in the passage of vehicles. private by the urban fabric of the regional capital.
