Estopa releases its first original song in Catalan: 'La rumba del Pescaílla'

The musical duo Estopa released their first original song in Catalan this Sunday, titled La rumba del Pescaílla, in tribute to the master of Catalan rumba.

The song, which they presented on the television program La Marató, on TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio, will be part of the new album Estopía and is the second preview of the album, after 'El día que tú te marches'.

The work will be launched in March and will serve to celebrate the 25 years of experience of the two brothers from Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona).

El Pescaílla, who died in 1999, was a Catalan gypsy musician who influenced the development of the rumba genre. He was the husband of Lola Flores and father of the singers Lolita and Rosario, and Antonio, also deceased.
