Do you know the Camino Natural del Port de Vielha?

In The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we can see this perspective of spring green contrasting with the white of the snow in Port de Vielha, in the Val d'Aran.

In the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees we can discover a path to be in communion with nature: the Port de Vielha Nature Trail.

This route takes up an old natural pass used since ancient times as a communication route between Aran and Ribagorça.

This natural pass, marked with the GR-211-5 signs, is traveled every May 22 in the traditional Santa Quiteria Pilgrimage, thus celebrating the removal of the last snow that allows crossing the port. In the photograph we can still see remains of the snowfall in the Port of Vielha.

The Camino starts on the outskirts of the town of Vielha, not far from a rest area equipped with barbecues, bicycle parking and an information panel on the route to be taken.
