Colau has gone further and stated that Collboni has not had the will to reach an agreement with them, he has accused him of lying and that "almost a month has passed and he has not called me." “For there to be negotiations and agreements, there has to be a minimum of respect and desire for an agreement. Collboni does not want to make a pact,” he added.
Despite the differences and accusations, the leader of BComú maintains “her hand extended” for a government agreement both before the plenary session on March 22 and after. Colau says that now the “ball is in Collboni's court” and reaffirms that she is willing to “talk, negotiate and forge agreements” as long as some “minimums” of the electoral program are met.
The reactions to Colau have not been long in coming. The Deputy Mayor of Economy, Jordi Valls, has reproached the leader of BComú that her refusal to the budgets is because “her only argument is entry into the government”, in addition to making her ugly that she has dedicated herself to “looking for more excuses than points.” OK". For her part, the leader of ERC in Barcelona City Council, Elisenda Alamany, has once again criticized Colau's contrary position to the accounts agreed by socialists and republicans. In statements to the media, Alamany has defended that the budget that will be voted on on March 22 is “good and left-wing” so she does not understand that “they wanted to change everything, today they blocked everything.”
