The PP candidate for the Presidency of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has assured after ratifying his electoral victory that "it is a great night for the PP, but it is only the prelude to tomorrow".
"Based on tonight's results, at the next investiture plenary I will present my candidacy for the Presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana with the aim of giving the Region the government it deserves, stable, and above all for all citizens without exception, whether they voted for us or not", he assured.
"We are perfectly aware of the challenge that lies ahead, of the message that the citizens have given us and of the height of the circumstances in which we are going to be, working all over the world without exception," he added.
Mazón thanked the acting president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, for the call he made to him on election night, although he has confessed that he has not been able to speak with him and that he hopes to do so "throughout tonight".
