C. Tangana falls in love with celism with the hymn 'Oliveira dos cen anos'

The Madrid artist C. Tangana has presented this Thursday what is the new centenary anthem of the Real Club Celta de Vigo. The celestial club celebrates its 100th anniversary on August 23 and the renowned singer wanted to pay homage to them with a song that has made all Celtists fall in love. 'Oliveira dos cen anos' is a mixture of Galician tradition and folklore that C. Tangana has had the "gift" of being able to compose.

Despite the fact that he is the composer of the centenary hymn, the artist gives prominence to a large choir of voices that are the ones that interpret the lyrics of the song in Galician with great emotion. The video clip is recorded in the Vigo estuary, where it includes landscapes typical of the club's city, as well as many images of Celtic fans. For example, El Pucho, who is a well-known fan of the club.

The Afundación Theater witnessed a very emotional afternoon yesterday where the entire team staff accompanied him at the preview of the centenary hymn. C. Tangana already warned that he was going to get excited and he was not wrong. The singer responded to some questions in which he was honest in each and every one of them.

One of the most exciting moments was when his father walked with him on stage. Although the singer is from Madrid, his father is Galician and had to emigrate from Vigo to the capital. For him, this job means "paying homage" to what his father has given him. "To his land, to his language, to his city. All of that is mine in a way and it's my way of telling him and the world," he said.

C. Tangana has never hidden his pride in being from Celta and yesterday he once again showed off his passion for the club: "For me, being from Celta is something militant, something subversive. It's something I wanted to convey. Being from Celta is something very handsome, that makes you feel very proud. I've always been outside, defending being from Celta".

For his part, the president of the club, Carlos Mouriño, congratulated the musician from the stage for his work: "Thank you for turning all this into a poem that makes us move and vibrate." Also the captain of the team, Iago Aspas recognized his success: "They have done a brutal job. This is going to have an impressive impact."
