Borràs asked an ILC official to alert him to police records

The President of the Parliament, Laura Borràs, contacted an official of the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes (ILC) to ask him to let him know if the Mossos re-registered the entity and were interested in paying the bills investigated, when she was already a deputy and Minister of Culture.

According to legal sources, this is clear from some "whatsapp" audios that Borràs sent to a technician from the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes, which he directed between 2013 and 2018, when he had already left the entity and the Mossos investigated whether he divided contracts to award them by hand to a friend.

The official, Roger E., declared this Tuesday as a defendant before the judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) who is investigating Borràs for allegedly awarding 18 finger contracts to his friend Isaías H. when he directed the ILC.

The accused had refused to testify at the time before the head of the investigating court number 9 in Barcelona, who investigated the case before it passed into the hands of the TSJC due to Borràs' status as a registered judge, but now he has asked to appear voluntarily before the instructor, before whom he has maintained that the president of the Parliament gave him orders on which companies he should award the contracts under suspicion.
