Robert De Niro and Al Pacino have returned to that of fatherhood and changing diapers; and now it's the turn of Bill Murray, who at 72 seems to have found love again with someone totally unexpected: singer Kelis, 43.
As reported by the US edition of The Sun newspaper, the Oscar nominee for Lost in Translation would be starting an affair with the interpreter of the famous song Milshakes, of whom he would have been totally captivated after seeing her at a concert in London recently. After that performance, the actor would have continued to attend other of his shows, both in the United Kingdom and in the United States.
An interest that would have grown with the passage of time -and music-, and that would have led to finally meeting after one of those concerts on the other side of the pond. According to a source consulted by the aforementioned newspaper, both artists met in the United States and their connection was so evident that the first rumors began to emerge. "Now that they've seen each other in London, it's obvious," he says.
Obviously, the news has left the followers of both artists quite confused, since no one expected that two such disparate characters would connect; much less that they were going to start any kind of relationship. The reactions, obviously in meme format, are priceless.
The unexpected couple was not part of anyone's pool, but it seems that they would have more in common than it might initially seem. Her second sailor, photographer Mike Mora, passed away from stomach cancer in March 2022 at age 37, prompting Kelis to withdraw from public life for a time to grieve her. The singer also has three children: Shepherd (8) and Galilee (2), the result of her marriage to Mora; and Knight (13), of her relationship with Nas.
Murray, for his part, has also been married twice. First, with Margaret Kelly, from 1981 to 1996, with whom he had two children, Homer (41) and Luke (38); later with the designer Jennifer Butler, from 1997 to 2008, a relationship from which four children were born: Caleb (30), Jackson (27), Cooper (26) and Lincoln (22). Butler sadly passed away unexpectedly at the age of 57 in 2021.
