Batch Cooking weekly menu for the week of October 16 to 20

I have been putting off this moment for at least three years. It is a topic that I am afraid to address because I know that it generates overwhelming passions, religious fervor and fierce sides for and against.

But here I go: I don't like the air fryer. Already. I have said it.

One of the main reasons is that it has become popular through videos and recipes on the internet. Just as the networks are the showcase of fake happiness, every post with an air fryer seems to me like a desperate attempt to justify an unnecessary investment.

Second, the few times I have used it (it was my landlord's, not mine) nothing turned out the way I wanted, it took up half the counter and I ended up with something that is neither a pot nor a basket, all stained, impossible to wash in the dishwasher and very difficult to fit in the dishwasher.

Finally, as has already happened with other culinary crazes (the electric can opener, the electric knife, the waffle maker), I am sure that this one will also pass and soon we will have a huge cemetery of air fryers distributed in storage rooms around the world.
