Former minister José Luis Ábalos, who last Tuesday challenged the authority of Pedro Sánchez and the mandate of the PSOE executive by leaving with his seat to the mixed group of Congress, in the midst of a storm over the alleged corruption scandal of the Koldo case, is very willing to put up a fight against his former comrades in the ranks.
The one who was also organizational secretary of the PSOE, until his resignation in July 2021, has demanded that Ferraz also open a file for very serious misconduct against his successor in office, Santos Cerdán, for having revealed his personal data in the resolution that The party executive initially announced, that same Tuesday, to provisionally suspend him from militancy.
The PSOE leadership initially mistakenly disclosed, among other information, Ábalos's personal home address that was in its database for notification purposes. As soon as he realized that he was thus revealing the former minister's private data, Ferraz corrected him and forwarded the resolution with that hidden address.
Ferraz sources, in any case, emphasize that it was an error, “recognized and amended” immediately, so they do not consider that Ábalos' claim against Cerdán can now have any meaning.
