Ayuso reduces positions in his new government structure and extinguishes the company Madrid Activa

The Community of Madrid has approved this Wednesday to reduce by 26% the deputy ministries of the Government chaired by Isabel Díaz Ayuso with the decree that creates the structure of the autonomous Executive after the 28M elections and that integrates nine Ministries.

According to the Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Local Administration, Miguel Ángel García, at the press conference after the Governing Council, this measure will mean a saving of 8 million for the public coffers in this new legislature and also includes the elimination of two senior positions with the rank of general manager and the extinction of the public company Madrid Activa.

The new organization to which the Governing Council has given the green light will have 14 deputy ministries, five less than in the legislature that began in 2021, reports EP. In the measure adopted for the merger, elimination or absorption of powers of the vice ministries, it is highlighted that the Presidency assumes those of Local Administration and in Digitization that of Digitization is created and that of Local Administration and Digitization is suppressed.

In addition, the deputy ministries for Economy and Employment disappear, which are merged into a new one for Economy and Employment. In Health, the deputy ministries of Health Care and Public Health are eliminated, as well as that of Economic Management and this department is left with only a generic deputy ministry of Health and its head will assume the powers of the general direction of the Madrid Health Service.
