Artistic innovation is cited in Terrassa at the TNT festival

With the aim of "fostering critical thinking and artistic innovation", the TNT festival presents its fifteenth edition, from September 28 to October 2, with 24 shows, 15 of which are premieres.

Marion Betriu, the director of Terrassa Noves Tendèncias, points out that the festival "supports the companies from the beginning, because we want to continue encouraging the artistic fabric of the country, which are the artists who make up the scene of the future."

One of the objectives is to "connect with the groups of Terrassa", with companies such as Montdedutor, who present El Movimiento, and L'Alakran, with itinerant Makers, with the curiosity that each day the piece will have variations.

Among the essentials, it is worth mentioning María Salgado and Fran Cabeza de Vaca with Jinete ultimo Reino frag. 1, Alberto Cortés with One night at the Golden Bar, and Cuqui Jerez with Mágica y elastica. This year, the Escac, the film school based in Terrassa, joins the festival, with the new sets installed in spaces provided by the City Council.

Regarding the budget, €324,000, although the contribution from the Generalitat has increased, it is less than last year (€360,000). The reason, according to the Councilor for Culture, Rosa Boladeras, is "the electricity bill, which is gripping small administrations." The TNT festival, which until now has had a Spanish scope, intends to internationalize in the future, “if more budget is obtained”.
