Arctic Monkeys have surprised their fans this Tuesday with There'd better be a mirrorball, the first single from their next album, which will be released this Friday.
This is their seventh album, which they call The Car, and which will contain ten new songs, written by Alex Turner and produced by James Ford.
Following on from their last effort Tranquility Base Hotel Casino, released in 2018, The Car finds the Arctic Monkeys running wild in a sumptuous new musical landscape and contains some of the richest and most rewarding vocal performances of Alex Turner's career.
