All Those Food Market celebrates its tenth anniversary at Moll de la Fusta

Viqui Sanglas and Santi García, the promoters of All Those Food Market, find it hard to believe that ten years (and 16 editions) have passed since they started their project at the end of 2014, “without resources and with the support of family and friends. friends". They returned to Barcelona after living abroad for a few years. “In New York we saw that these types of festivals were successful at a time when large stores were destroying artisan markets.” And, above all, they returned dazzled by the Markthalle Neun, in the Berlin neighborhood of Kreuzberg, where they discovered that the world of specialty coffee was full of enthusiasts: “It was our great inspiration, but we soon realized that that same enthusiasm “It was in all the gastronomic entrepreneurs.”

And that was how the first All Those Food Market started, in the historic building of the University of Barcelona. There they would celebrate three editions of this festival that has been increasing the participation of restaurants and small artisans. And those continue to be its values: “Promote the work of artisans and gastronomy entrepreneurs and a model of responsible consumption.” Then there would come an unrepeatable Christmas edition (impossible to obtain permits again) at the Seminari Conciliar and, later, the transfer to the TNC, where they have been between 2017 and 2023.

With the tenth anniversary comes the move to Moll de la Fusta, where tomorrow and Sunday there will be a varied proposal: 20 restaurants, more artisans than ever (60), ten beverage projects and more than 20 workshops for adults and children (from chocolates to non-alcoholic botanical cocktails, rosé wines, cheese tastings or urban gardens). And on the tenth anniversary, to promote the presence of high craftsmanship in gastronomy, the Consorci de Comerç (CCAM) and the artist specialized in food art will present an artistic installation with three altars that will represent Mediterranean crafts and foods.
