Air joins the line-up at Sónar in Barcelona to celebrate 25 years of 'Moon Safari'

The French duo Air have confirmed that they will participate in the Sónar festival, which will be held from June 13 to 15 in Barcelona. Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoït Dunckel return to the stage seven years later to perform their debut album Moon Safari, which turns 25, and other hits from their career.

Their performance in the Catalan capital marks the return of the band after their previous performance in 2010. This Thursday, the festival has announced that the performance will take place on the night of Friday, June 14. It will be one of the few occasions to enjoy their album in its entirety live.

Considered a cult work, Moon Safari maintains the richness of French electronic sound, fusing downtempo with the heritage of the chanson française, and contains songs such as Sexy boy, La femme d'argent and All I need.

This new show joins the more than one hundred shows and activities that will take place at Sónar 2024, among which Jessie Ware, Kaytranada, Charlotte de Witte, Floating Points, Folamour and Vince Staples, among many others, stand out, and which will be announced new names in the coming weeks.
