A taxi driver from Barcelona has reported to the Guàrdia Urbana a client who was masturbating in the back seat of the vehicle while she was driving him to a hotel, and whom she has ordered to get out of the taxi immediately.
The woman reproached the passenger for his attitude, without him flinching at first, although she finally chose to get out of the vehicle and enter the hotel she was going to, located on Sepúlveda Street, in the center of Barcelona.
Subsequently, the taxi driver went to the Barcelona Urban Police headquarters, where she filed a complaint as a victim of an administrative infraction against sexual freedom and provided some images from a camera as proof of what happened.
After learning of the facts, the spokesperson for Élite Taxi, Tito Álvarez, has shown "fed up" with the "lack of protection" that taxi drivers suffer in their vehicles and has demanded action "this week" before the sector responds forcefully.
"We are unprotected. They don't even give us a sticker that says we are connected to the police. All commitments are put on hold. It's not that I'm announcing mobilizations, but if this week there are no immediate solutions with the issue of cameras or some other issue, We are going to have it," he warned.
Álvarez has emphasized the "shame" that a colleague of his has to go through an event like this and that "people think they can do whatever they want with a taxi driver and with brutal impunity."
