A round of Lloret and Tossa de Mar

In The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we have covered the section of the road that connects two of the towns on the Costa Brava with the highest number of tourists: Lloret and Tossa de Mar.

The coastal path is an attractive walk through which we can move around the Costa Brava and its beaches. In recent years, reforms have been carried out, making it an authentic tourist route.

It is so called because this route was used by Civil Guard agents to control the Spanish maritime border and prevent smuggling. That is, they made the rounds on this road.

Its origins date back to the 19th century when a path was created through the cliffs of the Costa Brava, but in the 20th century it was associated with surveillance of contraband.

This section is about 14 kilometers long and can be done perfectly in about four hours because it is not too difficult.

A good starting point is the viewpoint of Punta d'es Cards, from which you have incredible views of the cliffs in the area.

And we can immortalize one of the most beautiful panoramic views when we approach Tossa de Mar and see the beach of Es Codolar, with the walls of the old city.
