A mirage in Vallès amid so much drought

Today I would like to talk in La Vanguardia Readers' Photos about a somewhat antagonistic image in these times of drought, although also artistic.

I took this series of photographs in Les Franqueses del Vallès, in the region of Vallès Oriental, where we can find this raft full of water.

The contrast begins precisely in that sky that has not left rain lately and, therefore, does not usually appear with sufficiently developed clouds. A situation that contrasts with this full raft to be overflowed.

It is a shocking image with the meteorological drought, it is shocking to see this pond full. But we can also discover a somewhat artistic touch in the photographs, which comes from that reflection of the environment that surrounds the raft.

A reflection that makes us think that we are seeing an ocean or an image made with artificial intelligence, but this is not the case. This is a real photograph, next to a path between fields where we can see the reflection in the water of houses, fences, etc.

So, with this pair of images, how many things we have been able to see beyond a simple and beautiful blue color. It gives you something to think about and enjoy.
