A massive fire at the entrance to Barcelona causes some traffic jams

This Tuesday around 5:00 p.m. a fire broke out near the Trinitat junction in Barcelona, which raised a large column of black smoke that could be seen from different points in the Catalan capital. Eight crews from the Barcelona Firefighters have gone to the scene to put out the flames.

The fire, now extinguished, occurred in some orchards located around the C-17 and the Besòs river. More specifically, a few meters from the bridge, where the exit from the city along Meridiana Avenue and the entrance to Barcelona through the Trinitat junction intersect.

At the moment the causes of the fire have not been revealed, but, as a result of the fire, some bus stops on interurban lines have been affected and this has generated traffic jams in some parts of the city.

Some users, who have seen the column of smoke on the street or from their cars, while they were stuck in a traffic jam, have shared images and videos of what happened through networks.
