He fatally ran over a 50-year-old pedestrian at the intersection of Camino de Ronda and Méndez Núñez Street, in the heart of the Granada capital, and fled. Shortly after, the driver was arrested and brought to justice. As this newspaper has learned, the arrested person tested negative for alcohol and drugs.
The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. this Wednesday and there were some witnesses who alerted Emergency 112, from where the health services were activated. Apparently, the man was unconscious after the impact, although the medical team sent to the scene only certified the death of the victim.
The emergency services were only able to confirm the judicial death of this citizen, an accident that is now being investigated by the Attestados group.
Meanwhile, the person responsible for the accident was arrested by the Local Police after fleeing the scene and has already been brought to justice.
