A 33-year-old man died this Friday after being hit by a Rodalies train in Calella (Barcelona). The deceased, 33 years old, crossed the train tracks with the barrier lowered, on a scooter and talking on his mobile phone, as La Vanguardia has learned from sources at the Maresme town council.
The Mossos d'Esquadra have opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the event. The circulation of trains on R1 has been interrupted.
