The Civil Guard has arrested a man in Malaga for sexually assaulting and recording intimate images of his minor stepdaughter. The man had allegedly installed microcameras hidden in a stuffed animal, a light bulb and a plug for two years in the bedroom and bathroom of his house in the Malaga town of Mijas.
As reported by the armed institute in a statement, the author would have used drugs that produce drowsiness to put the minor to sleep and sexually assaulted her. The victim told the agents that, at night, the author made her tea and that after drinking it she always felt very tired.
During the search of the detainee's home, the agents found USB storage devices with intimate recordings in which the detainee could be observed sexually assaulting the minor, in addition to cameras and different drugs for drowsiness.
The author had been living with his partner and her daughter for seven years. It was a tip from the minor's boyfriend, who found a camera hidden in a teddy bear, who alerted her mother to report it to the Civil Guard. The agents have located hidden microcameras, in addition to the stuffed animal, in a light bulb and a socket, in different rooms of the home, including the minor's bedroom and the bathroom.
The author would have been recording intimate sexual images of the minor for two years, from the age of 16 until she was of legal age. This man found out about the complaint filed against him by the family and immediately fled the Mijas home. He spent three weeks continually changing his rental house through a well-known online platform until finally being located by the Civil Guard in Malaga capital.
The agents located him when he went to the Malaga bus station where he had kept his computer in a storage room. At that moment he was arrested. He is accused of crimes of sexual assault, against privacy and possession of child pornography. After being presented before the judicial authority, his imprisonment has been ordered.
