A 4,000-meter inflatable park arrives in Madrid: location, dates and play areas

The Sonrisas production company, created by the brothers Manuel, Rafael and María González Villanueva more than a decade ago, surprises again with a new leisure proposal by bringing to Madrid a peculiar concept of family entertainment: Funbox, a 4,000-meter inflatable park. square meters, which is among the largest in the world.

It has been located on the Puerta del Ángel stage, very close to the Casa de Campo, and will be installed from March 7 to May 5, although it is not ruled out that it could be extended.

The ten jumping zones are connected and can be climbed by the littlest ones to adults. Highlights include a seven-meter-high slide or a six-meter mountain. Passes last 90 minutes and there are several challenging mazes, such as the Mountain Challenge, Battle Beam, Obstacle Course, Gumball Gallop or Ninja Wall. In addition, throughout the circuit there will be characters who will interact with the little ones to encourage them to complete the circuit. Tickets are purchased at an established time and the shifts start at 10 in the morning, until the last one is at 8:30 p.m.

The price to enter the park is 16 euros and children under 12 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult, who also needs to purchase a ticket. Children under two years old do not pay admission. And for safety, pregnant women cannot ride the inflatables. The park is installed outdoors, so it is very important to be aware of the weather when purchasing tickets, since on rainy days it will not be possible to enjoy it in the same way. There are also restaurant and rest areas to complete the day.

This is a project that comes from the United States. The idea was born in Los Angeles and reaches Europe for the first time, although the idea is that it will later be installed in other cities in Spain. For now, it is planned that a park similar to the one that has been installed in the capital will be set up in Zaragoza from April 15 to June 2. The tour began in Barcelona from October 19 to November 26, 2023 and in Valencia it has been from December 2, 2023 to January 7 of this year.

Producers of Sonrisas, which won the National Circus award last year, has brought shows such as Circlasssica, the Ice Circus or the Circus of Horrors to the capital. Little or little he is directing other shows, such as the Magical Christmas of Torrejón de Ardoz or Juvenalia, both events in their respective latest editions.
