The warrior Aloy, one of the most iconic characters of the current PlayStation, has a new adventure starting today. Horizon Forbidden West has just received its first major expansion with the release of Burning Shores, a DLC add-on that allows players to return to the post-apocalyptic, tribal world of this critically acclaimed title.
Unlike the original game, the Burning Shores expansion is only available for PlayStation 5 and not PlayStation 4. It's a strange decision that Sony Interactive Entertainment tried to justify late last year, when it stated that its goal was to ensure "great technical vision." and creative."

Burning Shores places its events where it concluded from the Horizon Forbidden West story. On this occasion, Aloy must travel to a region to the south of the Lands of the Tenakth Clans, an unprecedented setting to explore in which he will meet a new companion and face never-before-seen machines.
The Japanese company reports that in order to enjoy the expansion, players must have completed the game's campaign up to and including the "Singularity" mission. Once this is done, Aloy will receive a call that will start this additional content.
