The Warriors survive against the Blazers despite Stephen Curry's zero three-pointers

It doesn't seem real, but it is. Stephen Curry did not make a triple this morning in the Warriors' victory against the Blazers (110-106). An event that shows that the four-time NBA champion is human, posting 0 for 8 from the arc at the Chase Center and one of his worst performances as a professional.

The point guard began his streak from the three-point line five years ago and has had 268 consecutive games since then, scoring at least one triple from the three-point line. Until now. The last time he didn't hit from the perimeter in the regular season was Nov. 8, 2018, when he went 0-4 against the Milwaukee Bucks.

He also did the same on June 13, 2022, in the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics, after playing in 132 playoff games scoring at least one three-point shot. “We can't rely on Stephen to save us every night. It was a tough game for him, but this is what a team is supposed to be," Steve Kerr analyzed at the end of the game against the Blazers.

"This is a good sign, because he has already been dragging us down enough this year. We need to give him more help," added the Los Angeles coach. The '30' of the Warriors only got seven points this morning: a figure that contrasts with the one he signed his partner Klay Thompson.

The American forward led his team against the Blazzers, scoring 28 points, four assists and one rebound. The 33-year-old player was his team's top scorer, behind a great Andrew Wiggins who scored 25 points in the 29 minutes he was on the court.

The Warriors are currently eleventh in the Western Conference standings with a record of 12 wins and 14 losses. In addition, they face the “indefinite” suspension of Draymond Green, after his incident last week in the duel against the Phoenix Suns, when he hit Jusuf Nurkić.

The duo formed by Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo gave the Bucks a new victory against the Houston Rockets (128-119). The American point guard scored 39 points, 11 assists and five rebounds, while the Greek was not far behind his teammate (26 points, three assists and 17 rebounds).

Adrian Griffin's team has won four consecutive games and is second in the East, only behind the Boston Celtics (19-7). On the other hand, the Suns' comeback against the Wizards, buried by Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, was also the highlight of the night.

The American point guard and shooting guard turned the score around in the fourth quarter, after the Suns lost by nine at the end of the third period, scoring 28 and 27 points respectively. However, Frank Vogel's team are tenth in the West (14-12).
