Real Sociedad started better, with an extra point of intensity that allowed them to enjoy more and better approaches to the green and white area, although they were occasions in which they lacked more precision to materialize in goals.
Betis reacted quickly to the relative dominance of the royalist team. He began to link very meaningful possessions with which he partially enclosed those of Imanol Alguacil. In fact, Ez Abde first with a shot from outside the area repelled by Álex Remiro and Aitor Ruibal later inside although repelled by Robin Le Normand put the Txuri Urdin defense on alert.
It was then that the realistic reply came, with a spectacular gallop down the wing by Hamari Traoré that found André Silva with a death pass, although clearly offside.
The clearest shot of the match came from the boots of Martín Zubimendi, with a shot from outside the Betic area in the 33rd minute that Rui Silva stopped first and then hit the post.

The chances came in dribs and drabs, although the Betic team gave a greater sense of danger, an example of which was a counterattack by Assane Diao that went over the crossbar in front of Remiro. In fact, it was Diao himself who again hunted a counterattack behind the royalist defense, although Igor Zubeldia recovered and managed to repel the shot.
Real finished the match better, with a double chance: Kubo's shot was perfectly repelled by Rui Silva, and the rebound ended up in the wing of Jon Magunazelaia, who crossed for Sadiq Umar to finish at will, although, of course, from outside of game again.
