Jalen Hurts signs the biggest contract in NFL history

A renewal for history. Jalen Hurts (24) and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to extend the quarterback's contract for five years in what is the largest contract in the history of the NFL, the professional American football league.

The Eagles, recent Super Bowl finalists, in which they lost to the 49ers, will pay the player $255 million over the next five years, of which $179,304 are guaranteed.

These figures exceed the 230 million that Deshaun Watson charges with the Cleveland Browns, so far the largest agreement in NFL history, although in this case Watson is guaranteed the entire contract.

In addition, for the first time in the history of the Eagles, according to ESPN, the agreement with Hurts includes an anti-transfer clause, so the player will not change airs if he does not give his consent.

Hurts was one of the finalists in the race to become the NFL MVP last season, putting up impressive numbers in just his second season as a starting quarterback. He had 3,701 passing yards with 22 touchdowns and just six interceptions. Additionally, he allowed 760 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.
