Barcelona City Council will install a giant screen in the Vall d'Hebron Olympic Municipal Sports Center, with a capacity for 2,000 people, to follow the women's World Cup final that will pit the Spanish team against England.

Barcelona will install a giant screen in the Vall d'Hebron pavilion to follow the World Cup final

Barcelona City Council will install a giant screen in the Vall d'Hebron Olympic Municipal Sports Center, with a capacity for 2,000 people, to follow the women's World Cup final that will pit the Spanish team against England. The final of the Women's Soccer World Cup will be held this Sunday, August 20, at the Sydney Football Stadium starting at 12:00 (Spanish time).

"The City Council offers all the fans of the Spanish women's team who are in Barcelona the opportunity to see this historic match, since it is the first time that the team has managed to reach the final and the expectation is maximum", The consistory has explained in a statement. Although access is free and free, places are limited to 2,000 people "to guarantee security in the space."

An access control will be established from the opening of the doors, at 11:00 a.m., and entry with dangerous and forceful objects will not be allowed, nor will elements such as fireworks, glass bottles or rigid containers be admitted. The announcement by the City Council chaired by Jaume Collboni comes after the leader of the PP in the council, Daniel Sirera, demanded that a giant screen be installed.
